Social-economic data was obtained from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) published census data for 2005 at 5 remoteness level (Major Cities, Inner Regions, Outer Regions, Remote Region and Very Remote Region)  for each state.  Individual Median Income was extracted directly from ABS, but % of Non School Qualification had to be calculated manually.  This involved obtaining the number of people with non-high school education and then dividing that number by the number of people over 15.
