Concept and Evaluation
Introduction

This thesis investigates the requirements needed to achieve reliable, high accuracy survey data using the Lynx Mobile Mapper. This was accomplished through studying the concepts of mobile mapping systems and georeferencing. Understanding how the components of the Lynx Mobile Mapper interact with each other and by testing the performance of the Lynx in a different environmental conditions with and without control points.
